Toshiba Memory Corporation Achieves VMware vSAN™ 6.7 Certification for PM5 Series of Enterprise SAS SSDs

TOKYO – Toshiba Memory Corporation, the world leader in memory solutions, today announces that the PM5 Series of 12Gbit/s enterprise SAS SSDs has earned VMware vSAN™ 6.7 certification as a storage solution conforming to the virtual infrastructure solutions provided by VMware, Inc.

VMware vSAN is a hypervisor-converged storage platform that realizes high-speed and high-reliability servers & storage, data centers and software defined storage in a VMware vSphere® environment.

The PM5 Series of enterprise SAS SSDs, a high-performance flash storage for storage and cache use, has been certified as a storage product with functions suitable for building VMware virtual infrastructure solutions by conforming to certification items including performance, reliability, endurance, functionality and compatibility specified by VMware vSAN.
