To meet further growth in the demand for flash memory, Kitakami Plant operated by Kioxia Iwate Corporation was established in Kitakami City, Iwate Prefecture. Fab1 started operation in 2020, followed by Fab2 in September 2025.

Our aim is to make Kitakami Plant a facility that is trusted by our customers and local residents. As a member of the local community, we are committed to environmental conservation activities such as reducing energy consumption and environmental exchanges with the local community.
